Now I Understand!!

I need to confess that I am saddened when the time between posts is longer than I would like on my favorite blogs.  How could they keep me hanging??  What is the latest work-in-progress or finished object??   I definitely have more appreciation for the time and effort it takes to create meaningful posts, especially when the blog is not the person's main source of income!  Work commitments and other responsibilities have hampered my time to post the past few weeks and I have made the conscious decision to knit with my few spare moments rather than blog. With a few days off from work, my goal is to take pictures and post about my recent encounters with sticks and string....stay tuned!!

  1. Hi Cathy, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment at my blog, I don't think I've been here before?
I haven't been to England for the holidays, only during the summer months, but a couple of years ago we drove to New Mexico to see family for Christmas, and even though it was only for 3 days (but a very long drive!) I did scale back a bit on the decor and didn't even hang lights up outside :(
Despite the offer of Christmas with hubby's family again this year... I'm opting to stay home ;-)

  2. Yes--it does certainly take a lot of time to blog consistently, even when one is feeling well! I find shooting pictures and uploading them takes me the most time and slows down my posts. You asked on my blog about whether the health stuff is slowing down my fiber arts activities...well, yes, everything has been slow lately. I do a lot more sleeping and staring into space while on this medicine! I also have to decide each day how much time to spend on income earning activities (writing/editing/designing, etc.) and fun stuff. It's amazing how little fun knitting I do each day right now--maybe an hour or two at most.
